Dr.Brock D. Burkman,DPM
Dr. Burkman grew up on a cattle and potato farm in Idaho. He met his wife, Holly, in college during his undergraduate training. The couple moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he studied for his doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. In 2008, after graduation, he moved his family to Leavenworth, Kansas where he did his residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital. In 2010, Dr. Burkman opened his private practice in Smithville, Missouri.
He has a passion for wound care which has allowed him to save many limbs and is well known for his ability to heal difficult wounds of the lower extremity. Dr. Burkman believes in spending time with his patients so that he can truly get to know them and their medical condition. He loves working in a small town.
Dr. Burkman is the father of 9 children. He is an active member of his church, the local Rotary club, Smithville Chamber of Commerce and Boy Scouts. He also loves to go camping and horseback riding.
Brooke Crane,MSN, APRN
Brooke Crane, MSN, APRN grew up in Weston, MO and currently resides in Weston on a small farm with her husband. Brooke studied nursing at Saint Luke's College of Health Science where she received her Bachelors and Master's degree. Brooke started her nursing career at Saint Luke's Health System.
While completing her Nurse Practitioner degree, she found her passion for wound care. She believes in taking time to get to know her patients in order to best treat their medical condition. She is an active volunteer with Camp Quality Northwest Missouri. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys being outdoors with her husband.
